Cranky is Swampy's enemy, and Where's My Water?'s main antagonist.

Personality

Cranky is always hungry, eating anything whatever he finds. He causes trouble for Swampy whenever and however he can. Cranky hates human behavior, and as a result, he and his gang spend most of their days tormenting Swampy (who has human traits). At times he even asserts aggression to his own minions, but never shows aggression towards Allie.

Cranky is very lazy and shows no respect towards Swampy. He was formerly in a relationship with Allie, until she abandoned him when Swampy gave her a bow. Cranky tried several attempts to sabotage the romance between the two, but he has had little success.

Cranky always has an issue with Algae that covers his "food" in his Lair. Therefore, he relies on an old pipe that drips out Poison Water to clear his plate. He chews on pipes frequently.

Cranky is shown to be incredibly strong despite having an enormous appetite, such as in the Warming Up cutscene where he helps Swampy build a special instrument for Allie as a special gift by carrying planks of wood, pipes and several other objects.

Appearance

Cranky takes on the appearance of an anthropomorphic obese light green alligator (not as light compared to Allie) and he is the largest alligator in the sewer, towering over Swampy and Allie. He is characterized by his purple ring-like bags on his eyes, 12 teeth sticking out (6 on each side) of his mouth and a distinctive blue scar on his belly. In addition, Cranky has a wavy mouth compared to Swampy and Allie who have simple looking mouths. but it still shows as a frown. Cranky's claws, toes are blue and his round, but pointy scales are also blue. Cranky's skin shows dark patches of mud and food, his belly is almost white and shaped like a square. His tail look's a lot like Allie, except it's longer, thicker and pointer; but unlike Allie, the tail faces inward. Just like all the Alligators in the sewer, Cranky has four fingers and two toes.

Eating Habits

Cranky eats his food in nearly the same way every time. He rocks back and then forth while lifting one leg at the same time. His eyes are always closed. He either chomps his food in 2 different ways or swallow it whole. After he swallows, Cranky puts his hands on his belly.

Personality

Cranky is the leader of the alligators and he is always hungry, eating anything whatever he finds. As his name suggests, he is very cranky and always shown with a scowl. Unlike his original counterpart, he is no longer an antagonist, but rather an "anti-villain"; with his original traits such as being lazy and disrespectful. He also seems to have a pet crab, only appearing in the main menu or at the Beach. Cranky is less fearful then Swampy and Allie and under most circumstances he gets aggressive. Like Allie, he is somewhat portrayed as an adult, however Allie is more sensible then him; thus both gators being "polar opposites" of one another. Even though as an adult, Cranky is often seen being "empty-headed" and he mainly cares about is eating what he encounters. He is also less playful towards Swampy, often unimpressed and annoyed by his childish nature.

Eating Habits

Cranky's eating habits are very different compared to the classic game, he stretches his body and bends down. In the classic game, he rocks back and then forth while lifting one leg at the same time (his eyes are closed at all times). Also in the classic game, he either chomps his food in 2 different ways or swallow it whole. While in this game, he chomps 12 times and then swallows it (in the levels he chomps with is eyes close). After he swallows, Cranky does not put his hands on his belly just like in the classic game.

• Cranky is well known for his cackling like laugh.
• Cranky also has a different sounding voice. His voice sounds very deep in this game rather than being "monstrous" in the first game
• Since the gators are positioned much like a family trio in the Main Menu, Cranky is the "dad" of the group as supposed to Allie being his mate and Swampy is his only child. But in reality, they are simply friends.
• Unlike Swampy and Allie, Cranky doesn't sing when playing his levels.
• On some occasions Cranky will swallow a small yellow alarm clock, a possible reference to Tick-Tock the Crocodile from Peter Pan.
• Cranky is "responsible" for eating the energy bar during its removal.
• Although he is the biggest alligator in the game, there are a few alligators that tower over him.
• Cranky "slurs" after a Bomb Explosion
• Depending on a device the player uses (Apple or Android), Cranky talks by saying "Raaag! Rrrrmmm! Ha ha ha ha!" or simply "Rrrrmmm! Ha ha ha ha!" when punching a pipe at the start of his level.

Personality

Cranky is the Sewer's alpha male and leader of the alligators, as his name suggests, he is very cranky and always shown with an angry face. Like in the games, he eats just about anything he can find from chicken legs to briefcases. Cranky is very lazy and very rarely shows love to other alligators like Swampy as seen in the episode. Cranky often uses Karl, Pushy and Shovey as his minions to perform "dirty work".

• Cranky is well known for his cackling like laugh which is heard in the episode On Ice after throwing a snowball at Swampy, making Allie worried.
• Whenever Cranky faces the camera, his head becomes more triangular and has a much more intimidating look.
• Even though Cranky has 6 teeth sticking out on either side of his mouth, he has 4 teeth on the left and 5 on the right (or vice versa) whenever he faces the camera or sideways.
• When his mouth is fully open, Cranky has a total of 18 teeth; as seen when he was screaming in the episode Rising Tide .
